India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi will receive Trinidad and Tobago’s highest award – the Order of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago (ORTT) – during his official visit to this country this week.
The Express understands that the Kamla Persad-Bissessar-led Cabinet gave the green light for Modi to receive this honour during his two-day official visit on July 3–4.
Over 20 countries across the globe have bestowed high awards on Modi, who is currently serving his third consecutive term as Prime Minister of India.
