The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) is again cautioning citizens about the use of Facebook Marketplace as they search for three suspects in connection with a robbery linked to the online service.
According to a media release, the robbery occurred on May 11 after the victim made arrangements via Facebook Marketplace.
According to reports, the 25-year-old victim, from Mayaro, made arrangements on Facebook Marketplace to meet a potential buyer for items he intended to sell. At approximately 11.45 a.m. that day, he proceeded to Plaisance Terrace, Laventille, where they had agreed to meet.
