A man in South Oropouche threatened to kill a police officer with a brick on Sunday. 

According to a police report, around 10 a.m. on May 18 a man from St Mary's Village reported he had been assaulted by a man known to him of Coker Street whilst at Aspire Supermarket SMR in South Oropouche.

Two officers proceeded to the address in search of the alleged offender and whilst proceeding along Coker Street around 10.26 a.m. the suspect was spotted standing on the roadway in front of his home. Police said upon seeing the approaching police vehicle the suspect began using obscene language.
