Police are investigating an armed robbery in which a woman was held up and her vehicle stolen at a fast-food outlet in Arima late Monday night.
Around 11.20 p.m., the victim walked to the back car park of KFC Windsor on Hollis Avenue to move her vehicle. As she got inside her silver Nissan Tiida (registration PDH 2629), a wagon parked beside her suddenly blocked her driver’s door.
A man wearing a black jersey, light blue three-quarter jeans and a black mask approached, pointed a gun at her, and demanded her car keys and cellphone. Fearing for her life, she handed over the keys.
