A late-night stroll for a quick meal turned into a frightening ordeal for an Arima resident on Tuesday.
Around 11p.m., the victim of Bye Pass Road was walking north along Mt. Pleasant Road when a black Mitsubishi Lancer pulled alongside him, carrying five men dressed in dark clothing. Two of the men exited the vehicle, and one, armed with a firearm, demanded his belongings.
Fearing for his life, the man handed over a two-piece KFC meal, $200 in cash, and his black and silver Samsung S21 Ultra, valued at $3,500. The armed men then fled in the vehicle.
