An operations manager was held at gunpoint and forced to hand over his vehicle keys and cash on Wednesday night.
Around 9:05 p.m., the 50-year-old victim was exiting his blue Toyota Hilux, valued at $275,000, on Harkoo Street, Dow Village, near Maddox Bar, when a silver Nissan Tiida pulled alongside him. A male suspect reportedly exited the front passenger seat, pointed a firearm at the victim, and demanded his property.
Fearing for his life, the victim handed over $900 and the keys to his vehicle. The suspect then drove the Hilux away, fleeing along Harkoo Street before turning west onto Railway Road. The Nissan Tiida fled in the opposite direction.
