United States President Donald Trump’s invitation to Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar to meet in Florida on March 7 is a “mega development” says political analyst Prof Hamid Ghany.

In response to questions from the Express yesterday about the sig­nificance of this meeting, Ghany said it was a feather in the Prime Minister’s cap and would open the door to favourable developments for this country in energy and security co-opera­tion and other related areas.

“This is a mega development and the country will prosper from it,” he said.
