Trinidad and Tobago’s fortunes will continue to grow under the leadership of Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar and through strengthened partnership with the United States, says Minister of Foreign and Caricom Affairs Sean Sobers.

Sobers made the statement during an interview with the media following the Prime Minister’s meeting with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio yesterday in St Kitts, on the margins of the 50th Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (Caricom).

Persad-Bissessar has since been invited to meet with US President Donald Trump in Florida on March 7.
