A 51-year-old Canadian man was assaulted and robbed of a gold pendant during a struggle with two men on Chacon Street, Port of Spain, on Tuesday night.
The man, who resides in Ontario, was walking south along Chacon Street with his 26-year-old daughter around 11 p.m. when they were approached by two men in their early twenties near Starbucks.
Police said one of the men grabbed the man’s gold Guyanese custom-link chain, resulting in a struggle during which the chain broke.
