(Kaieteur News) – A postmortem examination performed on Freeman Fordyce, a 49-year-old businessman who was found in his Nandy Park home on Thursday around 13:00hrs, has revealed that he died of heart failure.
“Preliminary investigations revealed that Fordyce, who lived alone, was last seen alive by a relative on Sunday, 2nd August, 2026, about 16:00hrs. After several attempts by relatives to contact him went unanswered, the relative went to the residence on Thursday and discovered his body in a bedroom,” police said.
He was pronounced dead by a doctor from the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation. His body was subsequently examined, and no marks of violence were observed; no foul play is suspected.
