Man shot dead in George Street, Port of Spain

A 27-year-old man was shot and killed in George Street, Port of Spain, on Sunday night.

The victim was identified as Deshawn Mason, alias “Dede”, of George Street Plannings.

Police said that around 10.20 p.m., officers were on patrol along George Street when they were alerted by a homeless person about a man lying motionless near the eastern side of Building 58-60, south of the health centre.
