Three men were shot dead in separate incidents across the Port of Spain Division within a six-hour period on Sunday.

The first killing occurred around 4.30 p.m. at Mc Shine Lane, Laventille, where Romello Edingborough, 29, of La Sieva Road, Maraval, was fatally shot.

Police said Edingborough was assisting his father and others with renovation work at a one-room structure when six men approached. Two of the assailants were armed with firearms.
