A 76-year-old man was shot and killed during an early-morning attack as he played cards outside his home in El Socorro.
This incident, along with the killings of men in Laventille, Marabella and Tobago pushed the 2025 murder toll to 367 up to last night compared to 626 for the same period last year.
The 76-year-old victim was identified as Gobin Deonarine, of Persad Lane, El Socorro.
