Police searched a watercourse near Union Park, Marabella, on Wednesday evening after a woman reported that her children spotted what they believed was a newborn baby.
In a video posted to social media, the woman stated that her two children were riding their bicycles when they observed something floating in a river near the roadway, at around 5pm. She said it looked like a baby.
Officers from the Marabella Police Station responded. A baby could not be found.
