Businessman Dominic Hadeed and his wife, Genevieve, remain behind bars after the State successfully challenged their release from detention on Thursday night.
The couple, alongside their 69-year-old relative, Star Sabga, were detained in late June as police executed search warrants in connection with an alleged plot to murder Government officials and Members of Parliament, based on intelligence from an unidentified national security organisation.
Since then, they have challenged their detention and, on Thursday, July 16th, the couple were granted interim relief by the Court of Appeal while their legal challenge to their Preventive Detention Orders (PDOs) is being determined. They were expected to be released from detention and placed under house arrest.
