State contacts Privy Council for expedited hearing

The State has contacted the Registrar of the Privy Council seeking an urgent and expedited hearing in the matter involving businessman Dominic Hadeed and his wife, Genevieve Hadeed.
The Express learnt that contact was made with the Privy Council at around 4 a.m. on Friday in an effort to secure a hearing as early as next week.
Hadeed and his wife remain imprisoned after the State successfully challenged their release from detention late on Thursday night.
