FORMER prime minister Dr Keith Rowley has labelled Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar a “jamette” for failing to provide evidence supporting her allegations that the PNM is involved in criminal activity.
He was addressing claims made by the Prime Minister on Friday in Parliament, during a news conference at his Glencoe home yesterday. He recalled that he tuned into the parliamentary proceedings on Friday as it was announced that Persad-Bissessar would be making an important statement following her trip to the United States.
During her statement on the trip she alleged that the PNM built its party headquarters Balisier House at Tranquillity Street, Port of Spain, with money from narco-traffickers. She also accused the party of being connected to paedophiles.
