Tobago House of Assembly (THA) Chief Secretary Farley Augustine says the issue of autonomy for Tobago is a āhistorical injusticeā that remains to be corrected.
Augustine was speaking during a special sitting of the Tobago LeĀgislature in Scarborough, following an address by Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar yesterday.
He noted the Prime Minister delivered her address in the oldest Parliament in the country, which stands at 200 years old, adding that when it comes to parliamentary democracy, Tobago stands as a leader.
