Two women were robbed while walking along the jogging track at Palmiste Park around 7:45 a.m. on Thursday.
President of the Palmiste Historical Society, Terrence Honore, told Guardian Media that a neighbour was alerted to the incident near the Mini Cocoa Estate.
“One neighbour, armed with his revolver, went searching in the direction of the food huts. Police were alerted,” Honore said.
