Police are investigating a robbery with violence that occurred on Friday evening near Palmiste Park, San Fernando.
Around 7 p.m., a 40-year-old Lower Barrackpore man was walking in the vicinity of Bennet Drive when he was approached by a man who shook him violently and announced a robbery.
The assailant, described as approximately 6 feet 3 inches tall, dark-skinned and dressed in black clothing and a black hat, was armed with a knife with a white handle.
