A 27-year-old man was shot and killed near his home on George Street, Port-of-Spain, on SunĀday night, less than a week afĀter his reĀlease from deĀtenĀtion unĀder the State of EmerĀgency.
DeĀshawn āDeedeeā ManĀson was found dead near the health cenĀtre in the comĀmuĀniĀty around 10.20 pm. He had been limĀing unĀder a tent in the area at the time of the atĀtack.
PoĀlice said ofĀfiĀcers were on paĀtrol in the area when resĀiĀdents alertĀed them to a manās body.
