A D’ABADIE woman was robbed of $65,000 in cash following a break-in at her home over the weekend.
Police said that around 4.30 p.m. on Saturday, the woman left her Lillian Heights, D’Abadie, home but when she returned around 6.30 p.m. the next day she found her pedestrian gate and a window open.
Becoming suspicious, she checked the rest of the house and found items turned over as if someone had been quickly searching for something.
