A 48-year-old Petit Valley woman was attacked and robbed early Saturday morning while on the Brian Lara Promenade.
Police said around 5:30 a.m., the victim was approached by a man and a woman. The male suspect, described as of dark brown complexion, about 5’6” tall, wore a white vest and black three-quarter pants. The female suspect, slim build, about 5’4”, wore a light-coloured top and dark pants.
According to reports, the female told the victim, “Come out from here,” before both suspects began kicking her. The male then snatched her purse containing $200 cash, her national ID card, a pink wallet, and a pink Samsung cellphone valued at $2,000.
