(Kaieteur News) A popular businessman of Cumberland, East Canje, Berbice, succumbed to injuries he sustained after he was reportedly struck by a car along the Nigg Public Road, Corentyne, Berbice.
Dead is 42-year-old Ishwarnauth Bisram, also known as Ajay Bisram, formerly of Belvedere Squatting Area, Corentyne. The incident occurred at about 9:55 p.m. on Saturday.
According to police, Bisram was struck by motor car PZZ 1906, which was being driven by a 79-year-old doctor of Whim Village, Corentyne.
