POLICE are searching for a Barrackpore man who broke into the home of an ex-girlfriend, doused her with puncheon rum and set her on fire early yesterday.
The 40-year-old suspect, of Church Street, ran out of the woman’s house and escaped.
The incident occurred in La Romaine, and the 38-year-old victim suffered second-degree burns to her face, back and breast, hospital officials told investigators.
