An earÂly-mornÂing atÂtack left a La RoÂmaine woman with seÂriÂous burns afÂter she was alÂlegedÂly doused with PunÂcheon rum and set on fire by her ex-boyfriend inÂside her home yesÂterÂday.
The 38-year-old woman was treatÂed at the San FerÂnanÂdo GenÂerÂal HosÂpiÂtal for secÂond-deÂgree burns to her face, neck, and chest, covÂerÂing 22.5 per cent of her body.
