A 15-year-old boy was arrested on Monday evening after allegedly breaking into a shop at Los Iros Beach Road, Erin.
According to police reports, around 7.40 p.m. the shop owner, Jennifer Moses, 55, had secured her store, J Moses, and stepped outside to speak with a friend. When she returned, she found a male inside the shop without permission.
Moses immediately locked herself inside with the suspect and, with the help of her husband, Claudis Celestine, managed to subdue him. Her cousin, Johnathan Kelvin Moses, arrived after hearing the commotion and found $196 in cash and three packs of cigarettes in the suspect’s pocket. The items were placed on a table inside the shop.
