A 22-year-old woman was robbed at cutlass-point on Saturday night in South Oropouche, and a teenage boy has since surrendered to police.
According to police, the victim was walking along Government School Trace around 8.30 p.m. when she was confronted by the boy who announced a hold-up.
The teen allegedly grabbed the woman’s hand and stole her Apple iPhone 13 valued at $2,800 before fleeing.
