FIVE people, including a six-year-old boy, sustained injuries yesterday following a motor vehicle collision along the Eastern Main Road (EMR), on the outskirts of East Port of Spain.
The Express was told by police and onlookers that around 5.40 p.m., a white Mitsubishi Lancer, driven by Junior Jones, 68, and a blue Hyundai Accent driven by a woman, accompanied by her son and two of her friends, collided near Achong Street, along the EMR.
Jones had no other passengers in his car at the time.
