THE Oilfields Workers’ Trade Union (OWTU) has signalled its intention to picket the homes of PriceSmart managers if they continue to withhold seating accommodation to cashiers.
The warning came from the union’s first vice president Sati Gajadhar-Inniss as she along with about a dozen other OWTU members staged a peaceful protest outside the doors of PriceSmart’s Chaguanas outlet on Friday.
Having had demonstrations at PriceSmart in Port of Spain and Chaguanas, Gajadhar-Inniss said the union is prepared to go to all the PriceSmart locations if necessary.
