SUSPENDED Police Commissioner Erla Harewood-Christopher will have to wait a bit longer to know the outcome of her claim for judicial review against the Police Service Commission (PolSC) over its decision to place her on suspension while she is under investigation for allegedly misbehaving in public office.
The High Court was expected to deliver its ruling yesterday afternoon. However, in response to a request by the Express to be provided access to the virtual hearing, the Judiciary said it was 'vacated'.
'The team acknowledges your request for the link in the matter at caption. Please be advised that His Lordship has vacated the hearing and the decision will be delivered to the parties via e-mail in due course,' it stated.
