Police are investigating a report that four masked men in camouflage robbed two Maloney men and escaped in what appeared to be a marked Regiment vehicle.
Officers said the victims, a 19-year-old and a 32-year-old, were liming with others on the second floor of Building 12, Maloney Gardens, at 10.45 pm on Monday when the men approached them.
The attackers reportedly identified themselves as soldiers but did not present any official identification. They stole $6,000 from one victim and $1,000 from the other before getting into a vehicle bearing Regiment licence plates and driving off.
