The Trinidad and To­ba­go Reg­i­ment says it is ful­ly co­op­er­at­ing with the T&T Po­lice Ser­vice in a probe in­to a re­port that in­di­vid­u­als in mil­i­tary wear robbed two peo­ple in Mal­oney.

In a re­lease yes­ter­day, the Reg­i­ment said de­tails re­main lim­it­ed but em­pha­sised that all re­ports of pos­si­ble mis­con­duct are treat­ed se­ri­ous­ly and that it re­mains com­mit­ted to main­tain­ing the high­est stan­dards of pro­fes­sion­al­ism and ac­count­abil­i­ty.

Po­lice and the De­fence Force are in­ves­ti­gat­ing whether four cam­ou­flage-clad men in­volved in the rob­bery were ac­tu­al sol­diers or im­per­son­ators.
