The Caricom Election Observer Mission has given the assurance that they will be on the ground on election day, roving across both Trinidad and Tobago, and keeping an eagle eye out, in particular, in the marginal constituencies.
The mission also clarified that it is fully funded by the Caricom Secretariat.
Chief of the Caricom Election Observer Mission Ian Hughes and members of the delegation met with representatives of several media houses yesterday at the Hilton Trinidad and Conference Centre, Port of Spain, where they fielded questions—and asked some of their own.
