Members of the UNC executive met with the advance team of the Caricom election observer mission which will be observing the general election on April 28. They said they were able to share their issues with the election process thus far and were satisfied with the meeting.
The UNC held a media conference on April 22 following their 90-minute meeting with the six Caricom observers at the Office of the Leader of the Opposition, Charles Street, Port of Spain.
Outgoing UNC senator Wade Mark said they took the opportunity to point out the 11 marginal constituencies involved in the election.
