A 37-year-old Tobago man was stabbed, and had his right hand severed during an altercation in the Esplanade on Monday evening.
According to a police report, the Bagatelle labourer was seen ‘liming’ in the area at around 9.30p.m. when he was reported to have gotten into an argument with a man.
He was later seen approaching a nearby bar with a red substance resembling blood flowing from his right wrist and his right hand appeared to be severed, police were told.
