MEMBER of Parliament for Princes Town Dr Aiyna Ali wants to have the Princes Town Fire Station reopened as soon as possible to serve the thousands of constituents who have been left vulnerable after it was deemed uninhabitable last year.

Ali spoke to the Express on Monday morning when she visited a family of three whose house in Hillside Gardens in Buen Intento was severely damaged by fire on Sunday.

The Princes Town Fire Station is located less than two kilometres from the scene of the fire, and Ali said that officers would have responded at the location sooner had the station been opened.
