JUST one day after Christmas, woodworker Brian Robert Chadee lost his home of 40 years to a blazing fire in St Julien Village, Princes Town, on Friday.
It has left his family and business in distress. Chadee told the Sunday Express that on Boxing Day, he, his wife and his 20-year-old daughter left their home and were having lunch nearby, when they received a call from a neighbour that a fire had engulfed his workshop at the back of the house.
Within two minutes, he said, they returned to see that the fire had begun to spread to the two-storey concrete property which was adjacent to the workshop.
