Works and Infrastructure Minister Jearlean John has assured the public that all relevant agencies are on “high alert” to respond to flooding and inclement weather, while also urging citizens to stop dumping garbage in waterways.
“I didn’t come to play, you know. I show up to work,” said John during an appearance on TV6’s Morning Edition yesterday, where she outlined several flood mitigation measures being implemented by the ministry.
