Police are investigating a suspected case of firebombing at a family home in Oasis Gardens, Endeavour, after a fire broke out while residents were asleep inside.
According to police reports, officers of the Chaguanas Criminal Investigations Department (CID) were alerted around 1p.m. Thursday to a fire at a residence on Angersi Drive, Oasis Gardens.
A 42-year-old woman residing at the home told officers she was awakened around 3 a.m. by her daughter, who had heard a loud noise and discovered flames engulfing her bedroom window on the upper level of their split-level duplex.
