Suspicious blaze hits businesswoman’s Penal home

A fire broke out at a house in Penal early this morning, leaving part of the property damaged and prompting a police investigation into suspected arson.
The blaze started shortly after 6 a.m. at a three-bedroom concrete flat house along Deosaran Trace, San Francique. The property, worth $1.8 million is owned by businesswoman Fareeda Balgobin.
No one was at home at the time of the incident, and there were no reports of injuries.
