Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar declared yesterday that Trinidad and Tobago does not support Cuba’s “dictatorial” regime.
The PM addressed the issue during her remarks at the opening ceremony of the 50th Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (Caricom) in Basseterre, St Kitts.
Caricom leaders spoke about the crisis in Cuba and called for relief. Persad-Bissessar said Cubans lived without freedom.
