The Wa­ter and Sew­er­age Au­thor­i­ty's (WASA) CEO, Kei­th Hal­l­i­day, has is­sued an ear­ly warn­ing to the coun­try that there could be wa­ter short­ages as we go deep­er in­to the dry sea­son.

The dry sea­son is ex­pect­ed to peak in March.

WASA ex­plained yes­ter­day at a press con­fer­ence that the Are­na Reser­voir is cur­rent­ly at 73.8 per cent ca­pac­i­ty, 10 per cent be­low its long-term av­er­age. Mean­while, the Hol­lis Dam is cur­rent­ly at 77 per cent. Its long-term av­er­age of 76 per cent.
