(Kaieteur News) – The Ministry of Education is preparing to spend approximately $89,887,600 to construct a new teaching block at Ascension Secondary School in Georgetown.
According to tender-opening minutes released by the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB), 19 contractors have submitted bids for the contract.
Kaieteur News understands that the ministry has been constructing teaching blocks at several schools nationwide, as part of an effort to provide additional space and modern amenities to accommodate the growing student population.
