Kaieteur News – After spending $208 million to construct the Monkey Mountain Secondary School in Region Eight, the Ministry of Education is moving to spend another $384 million to build the school’s students dormitory.
According to information provided by the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB), the education ministry sought bids for the “Completion of Construction of Monkey Mountain Students Dormitory.”
Bids for the project were received on 8th August, 2026 at NPTAB, and according to the tender opening minutes, seven contractors expressed interest in the contract.
