(Kaieteur News) – The Ministry of Education says the new Kingston Secondary School building is estimated to cost some $371 million.
During a recent opening of bids at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board, it was revealed that the project will cost $371,377,630 with 62 contractors bidding for the contract.
The education ministry has been constructing new schools across the country to ensure children have access to education. The ministry has also been rehabilitating and rebuilding new nursery and primary schools to address overcrowding, and provide improved and enhanced learning spaces for students and teachers.
