(Kaieteur News) – A Chinese national, Zeng Huaqing, has been remanded to prison for causing the death of 24-year-old Christopher Thomas, called “Barn,” at Coverden, East Bank Demerara.
Thomas was riding his motorcycle with a pillion rider around 9:00 p.m. on August 5 when he was struck by a minivan.
Zeng was detained following the accident, and police later found that he was not licensed to drive in Guyana. The minivan was also unlicensed and uninsured.
