Police in Couva are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 45-year-old Kurt Kissoondath, who has been reported missing since Saturday morning.
According to his wife, Samantha Baksh, Kissoondath, a sheet technician with Technical Integrated Services Limited of New Settlement, Dow Village, left home around 8a.m. in his black AD Wagon. He told her he was going to board a fishing vessel to catch oysters near the Claxton Bay Fishing Depot.
When several calls to his cellphone went unanswered, Baksh went to the Claxton Bay area around 1:20 p.m., where local fishermen told her that Kissoondath had boarded a flatbed fishing vessel around 8:30 a.m., accompanied by a man known only as “Brandon.” Since then, neither Kissoondath nor Brandon have been seen or heard from.
