TWO fishermen and their pirogue who went missing for several hours over the weekend were safely located at sea by the T&T Coast Guard and returned to shore.
Their pirogue had engine trouble, and fisherman Brian Williams, and another man identified by his alias “Bay K”, were found aboard the vessel, floating at sea.
The boat owner, Richard Arjoon, had gone to the Mayaro Police Station around 2 p.m. on Sunday and reported that the fishing vessel, registration number TFN 6283, and his employees were missing. He reported that Williams, aka “Smells”, of Mafeking Village in Mayaro, and Bay K left the Guayaguayare Fishing Port in his pirogue around 4 p.m. on Saturday for a fishing expedition.
