“There is no application for the Commissioner of Police, and there is no reason to feel hurt.”

Those were the words of Minister of Homeland Security Roger Alexander as he addressed the passing-out parade of Batches three and four of 2024 at the Police Academy in St James yesterday.

During his address, Alexander turned away from the graduates and looked directly at the executive of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), and challenged the senior officers to either fully support Commissioner of Police Allister Guevarro or step aside.
